As the year wanes and we celebrate holidays and holy days, I encourage you to share your Star Word with CIC. More than a handful of you have told me how important and impactful your Star Word became as 2025 progressed. Whether or not you want to tell CIC about your word sometime during worship, I invite you to add your word to the pulpit as shown in the photo. Let's fill the pulpit with the meaning and challenge God brought to our lives through our 2025 Star Words. Blessings, Pastor Bryan |

Calling all men and women of CIC and the Southeast Community! Join us for our First Friday Fellowship on December 5, 2025, at 6:00 PM. We will be meeting at the newly updated Eagle Scout Fire Pit area. Enjoy hot chili and a WARM fire. Our kick-off event was a huge success, and we want to expand our new fellowship group for all ages. Let’s expand by inviting and bringing some of our neighboring friends from the community. No Bible study experience needed – just come for food, fellowship, and faith-filled conversation. Bring a friend, a camp chair, and a blanket! Contact: Jim Penrod at 336-314-8899 Jim@Penrodgroup.com or Laura Penrod at 336-404-0282 Laura@Penrodgroup.com For more details. Let’s build community and grow closer to Jesus together! |

Retirement Road Trip We are collecting food and monetary donations for Greensboro Urban Ministry (GUM) in honor of Pastor Bryan’s retirement on 12/31/2025! The Retirement Road Trip total is 704 pounds so we need 296 pounds of food donations to reach our goal of 1,000 pounds. There are envelopes in the narthex with a GUM label for cash and checks. Please write “Retirement donation” on the envelope and “Retirement donation” on the memo line of your check made out to CIC. Thank you for helping our neighbors in need and for honoring Pastor Bryan! |
Please note that GUM can turn every $1 donated into $5 worth of groceries! A $10 donation buys $50 of food! We greatly appreciate your generosity! |
