Easter Morning Breakfast Fundraiser at CIC – Pancakes and Sausage Mark your calendar and plan to join us Easter Sunday, March 31st, after Sunrise Service, approximately at 8am, prior to 9:30 service, for a delicious stack of hot pancakes and sausage. This is a fundraising event for Jared and James Penrod, who are heading to New Mexico in July on a high adventure backpacking trip with Scout Troop 368. Cost is $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for children under the age of 12. Breakfast will include pancakes, sausage, coffee or hot tea, and juice. If you can’t join us in person, consider coming by CIC for a stack of pancakes and sausage to go. We hope you will consider coming out to support these two scouts as they prepare to take an adventure of a lifetime. |

GUM Spring Food Drive at Food Lion Saturday, April 13 Please sign up in the narthex to hand out flyers and collect food donations for GUM’s Spring Food Drive on Saturday, April 13, at Food Lion on Woody Mill Road. We especially need help during the afternoon (12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.). We also need drivers to deliver food donations to Greensboro Urban Ministry on April 13. Thank you for helping our neighbors in need! |

TASTE OF KENYA Saturday, APRIL 20 Enjoy a delicious Kenyan dinner and help feed Kenyan children with your donation! Please purchase a ticket to fund the Children’s Home and School in Ngong, Kenya, which houses, feeds, and educates the neediest children from the local area. Tickets are available each Sunday after the worship service or via the QR code on A Taste of Kenya flyers. We will need several volunteers to assist on April 20. The three programs supported by One Great Hour of Sharing - Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, the Presbyterian Hunger Program, and Self-Development of People - all work in different ways to serve individuals and communities in need. From initial disaster response to ongoing community development, their work fits together to provide people with safety, sustenance, and hope. It is that time of year again! Preschool Registration for the 2024-2025 school year is HERE! CIC Preschool provides a loving, Christian environment that includes a variety of age-appropriate activities that encourage artistic expression, good choices, outside play, music, chapel, and positive interactions between children and adults. Please pick up a registration form in the Church or Preschool Narthex or stop by the preschool office Monday-Friday between 8:30-1:30.
