How You Can Help with Vacation Bible School

Pray! Pray for our volunteers and participant families before

and during VBS.

Decorate! We will decorate THIS Sunday, July 6, immediately

following worship. Thanks for any time you can give!

Volunteer! We need a few volunteers to fill in for guides who have

to miss a day.

Bring Food for GUM and Towels for Guilford County Animal

Services! Our VBS mission project is to collect food for

our neighbors in need through Greensboro Urban

Ministry AND clean bath towels for Guilford County

Animal Services. They need gently used or new bath

towels (no hand towels please) for bedding, drying,

and gentle handling.

Thanks for helping our VBS Travelers (children)

put their faith into action!

~ Update from Pastor Bryan ~

I had an appointment earlier this week with the neurosurgeon who did Diane's back surgery in 2022. His read of my recent MRI is that I have two issues going on:

1) mild lower lumbar stenosis and 2) a herniated disc impinging a nerve causing incessant, intense pain. I do my best to "stay ahead of the pain," but there's honestly not much that seems to touch the nerve pain. I am currently in a holding pattern waiting for an appointment for an epidural steroid that I need to have done before PT or considering surgery. Enrollment Openings Available

at CIC Preschool

Community in Christ Preschool has enrollment openings for the upcoming school year. Our quality program for children ages one through Pre-K operates Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. September through May. Families may choose three days or five days a week for children from ages one to three. The Pre-K class is five days a week. Please contact Preschool Director Lynn Crabtree at 336-674-1050 or preschool@cicpres.com for more information about this wonderful program. Registration forms are available in the narthex.
