This means that for every member of CIC and each church in this Presbytery, Salem Presbytery's 2024 cost is $41.00. This cost breakdown for 2024:        $30.05 stays in Salem Presbytery,      $1.15 goes to the Synod of the Mid-Atlantic, and      $9.80 goes to the General Assembly.    Your gift to this special, annual offering on August 25, 2024 will go directly to Salem Presbytery as we strive to be more and more connected with our presbytery, our synod, and the General Assembly.  Blessings,   Pastor Bryan The Nominating Committee submits the following names for Elder, Class of 2027: 1. At that time nominations may be made from the floor; however, be sure to check with person(s) nominated to make sure they are willing to serve.   -Betty Pierson, Chair   Pennies for Hunger and GUM Food Collection Sunday, August 4   Hunger may not take a vacation, but we can be a lifeline for families experiencing food insecurity. Our Pennies for Hunger and Food for GUM collection is this Sunday, August 4. Thank you for bringing your coins and food donations to help alleviate hunger! You may drop food off at the GUM Drive-Thru on Sunday until noon. We are so thankful for you and your support of Greensboro Urban Ministry and Pennies for Hunger! CIC Preschool is excited for the upcoming school year. We are very blessed to have support from the Church members and the Community. Thank you for all you do!   The Preschool is a wonderful resource for the community.  I look forward to working with the teachers, preschool committee, and the families to continue providing an excellent learning environment for the children in our care.  CIC's dear matriarch Jo McGuire has moved to a caregiving wing at Clapp's.   Room 603A is her new, shared room, and she always lights up when friends stop by and catch her up on CIC church family news! Wheel Train - CIC Member Eileen Beals is requesting assistance with transportation to Worship Service on Sundays. Please sign up on https://bit.ly/BealsWheelTrain.
