Join us for Beautification Sunday / Earth Day on April 14! Bring your lawn chair or a blanket for our special outdoor (weather permitting) worship service on Earth Day / Beautification Sunday, April 14! After the worship service, we will weed, plant flowers, and put out pine straw to beautify the church grounds so wear your work clothes and bring your gardening gloves and tools. If you would like to make a donation to help purchase plants and pine straw, please make your check payable to CIC and write “Beautification” on the memo line. Let’s celebrate Earth Day by worshipping and working together! |

The OneBlood Big Red Bus is coming to CIC on Tuesday, April 30, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.! Donating blood only takes a little of your time, and it can mean a lifetime for patients in need. All blood collected stays in our local healthcare system. OneBlood provides all donors with a wellness checkup including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, iron count, and cholesterol screening. CIC will be collecting food for the GUM Food Drive on Saturday, April 13, at Food Lion on Woody Mill Road. Please sign up in the narthex for a time slot (10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.). We also need drivers to deliver food donations to GUM on April 13. Thank you for helping those who need it most! |

TASTE OF KENYA Saturday, APRIL 20 Enjoy a delicious Kenyan dinner and help feed Kenyan children with your donation! Please purchase a ticket to fund the Children’s Home and School in Ngong, Kenya, which houses, feeds, and educates the neediest children from the local area. Tickets are available each Sunday after the worship service or via the QR code on A Taste of Kenya flyers. We will need several volunteers to assist on April 20. CIC Preschool provides a loving, Christian environment that includes a variety of age-appropriate activities that encourage artistic expression, good choices, outside play, music, chapel, and positive interactions between children and adults.
