CIC Angel Tree It’s that time of year when we help provide extra joy to our senior adults of the Meals on Wheels program and CIC Preschool! You may take an angel for a senior adult or a gingerbread man for CIC Preschool from the Angel Tree starting December 3. Please write your name on the signup sheet in the narthex, purchase the items, and bring gifts to CIC by December 24. We will deliver items the first week of January 2024. What a special way to bring in the New Year! |

CIC Christmas Post Office CIC children will deliver Christmas cards for our church family after the worship service December 3 through January 7. This is a wonderful way to exchange Christmas greetings and to support children’s ministries, as all donations will offset the cost of our 2024 Vacation Bible School. Please write the name of the recipient on the envelope and bring your cards to the CIC Christmas Post Office in the PYF Room with a donation of any amount. You may write a check to CIC and put “Post Office” on the memo line. Thank you for supporting CIC children’s ministries! |

Greetings CIC! One thing that makes the work of the Stewardship Committee a pleasure is the level of commitment of the members of our Community in Christ. When pledges are made, they are consistently fulfilled. Please take a moment to see where you are in meeting your pledge for 2023. We do not currently create giving statements as we have in the past, but if you cannot determine from your own records where you are with your pledge, please reach out to our treasurer, Jordan Morris. Jordan's email address is below. Remember that Jordan is the only person in the church with knowledge of pledges and year to date giving. As we move into fall, if you have been busy and let your pledge fall behind a bit, thank you for catching it up. This allows us to end 2023 on a positive note and move smoothly into planning for 2024. CIC Treasurer, Jordan Morris treasurer@cicpres.com |

Honor Cards for GUM and UKirk Honor Cards are a wonderful way to show appreciation for the special people in your life! Two different Honor Cards are available for $5 each. Contributions for GUM Honor Cards help our neighbors facing food and housing insecurity and UKirk donations support college student ministries at UNCG, Guilford College, and Greensboro College. Please see Debbie Wingate to purchase “the gift that gives back to the community.” You may write a check to CIC with “GUM Honor Cards” and/or “UKirk Honor Cards” in the memo line. Thank you very much! |
